Tucked away in the Oakland hills near San Francisco, Montclair Baking has delighted the San Francisco Bay Area and neighboring wine country since 1990. Fans come for award-winning wedding cakes, pastries, and miniatures that can be found nowhere else. By the way, visitors are welcome any time!

Don't let our cozy storefront fool you.Our baked goods receive national acclaim for both design and flavor.You'll find our European-style cakes luscious yet light, works of art inside and out. You'll also like our old-fashioned pies and preserves that are rich and comforting, but not too sweet.In all that we bake, we aim to strike aharmony of flavors and textures.

Custom cakes and pastries are our specialties. We use only fresh, top-quality ingredients and we don't take shortcuts... but we do design cakes to suit just about any need or theme. We also accommodate parties of all sizes, from intimate affairs for two to parties with hundreds or thousands of guests (we recently produced 22,000 pastries for a gala event!).
